How do I place intraday orders on HDFC Sky web portal?
Intraday orders are placed when you want to buy and sell the securities on the same day. This product is available for cash, currency & F&O.
Intraday orders square off at a defined time and before the market close if the user does not square off. Intraday orders are a leveraged product, where the member relationship management team sets the defined margin percentage which needs to be blocked.
In order to place an intraday order, log in to your HDFC Sky account. Search for the stock you want to buy or sell and add that to Market Watch.
Hover your cursor and select B to buy and S to sell.
Once the pop-up window opens, fill in the details. Make sure, Intraday is selected. Enter exchange, order type, order quantity, etc. Once all details are filled, click on Buy or Sell.
Timing: intraday trading hours are 9:15 AM to 3:30 PM, except on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
